Sa Dec - Vietnamese Fusion Cuisine in Bad Homburg

We came here after a recommendation and weren't disappointed! Very good food and very nice staff! We can only recommend it!

Beautifully decorated restaurant, open space, relaxing. Delicious food, homemade drinks are also great, must definitely try.

Service friendly, starter summer rolls delicious, solid Pho but a little bit of accessories. No fresh chillies :( Otherwise average, but the prices are above average.

Ambience, food and service excellent. I hope it doesn't just stay an insider tip. We were definitely not there for the last time.

We were at Sadec's on a Friday evening and the restaurant was well attended. Still, the drinks and starters came quickly. The main course is absolutely top class! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The ambience is very cozy and invites you to linger. The friendly, courteous service made you feel even more comfortable. So I can only agree with the other reviews here. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice evening at SA Dec. The prices are a little higher, but the quality of the food is definitely worth the price. Meat and fish were excellent and the service was friendly. You have to wait a little longer for food, but everything is freshly prepared. We would love to come back!

Had lunch on the terrace yesterday for lunch. Service and facility top. The food didn't really impress me in terms of taste. We had two main courses, one spare ribs and one beef strips filled with mushrooms. The plates came cold from the kitchen, cauliflower, broccoli and the star of the plate were also maximally lukewarm. In addition, the rolled beef was almost raw and therefore tough when cut in the wrong direction. The mushrooms, unknown to me so far, became more and more in the mouth and had an uncomfortably mushy consistency because you could hardly chew them. The spare ribs weren't a particular challenge because the sauce is all that matters. It was quite tasty but just as it was on my plate in very small quantities so that unfortunately you couldn't get the sticky rice that was included. You couldn't get full from the amount of main course, so you definitely need a starter and dessert and thus the price-performance ratio praised by other guests might have to be reconsidered.

Overwhelming! Exceptional service, quality and attention to detail. First, I would like to talk about the interior, which is very romantic and inviting. The restaurant as well as the ingredients of the dishes are a tribute to me, representing the mix of French-Vietnamese influence. In addition, the name of the restaurant reminds me of a novel I read when I was young. Sa Dec plays mainly in the novel “The Lover” in French. "L´Amant" played a defining role. The place was described as a romantic and charming town and the real pearl of the Mekong Delta. The location and the offer perfectly reflected this charm of the place described. As a starter I had Pho Cuon Bo, which was very light and perfect as a starter. Then I ate Pho Bo as my main course, which reminded me of my trip through Vietnam back then. However, the dish had a modern twist. The high-quality Argentinean entrecote took the Pho soup to the next level. For dessert I had the fermented sticky rice with exotic fruits, which was perfect. Because the combination of ingredients did not produce excess sweetness, but was much more balanced. I hereby recommend the restaurant to everyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine and is open to new things. My wife and I would be happy to come back! Thanks for the good food and the courteous service.
